Thesis Topic/Title:
The history of feminism around the world

Description

This research aims to examine the history of feminism from global or transnational perspectives. Its objective is to contribute new understandings to contemporary historiographical debates that pay particular attention to gender, race, class, sexuality, language, and nationality, as well as the politics of inclusion and exclusion in feminist thought. Research may relate to women in social movements or women in politics, broadly defined. Grounded in historical research and based on the analysis of primary sources in traditional and digital archives, there is scope to develop the research from specific national or regional vantage points based on individual access to archival materials.
