Thesis Topic/Title:
Simulation of fertiliser behaviour in agricultural soil

Description

Irrigation and fertilization are the two major techniques used to obtain high crop yields around the world. The aim of this project is to use high performance computing techniques to investigate the interactions between soil and fertilisers at the particle level. The effects of different fertiliser formulations and various land and field management practices on crop yield and fertiliser use efficiencies will be examined. The greenhouse gas emissions will also be evaluated.
