Engagement in online and blended learning environments is a very broad topic and could be investigated under one or more of the following research questions.

How do students and teachers conceive of online engagement?
Are there differences between student and teachers expectations of online engagement?
Are there differences in expected levels and types of engagement according across disciplines?
How does assessment impact online engagement?
Are there gender or age differences in the expectations of online engagement?
